Pamphylia, Aspendos, c. 300-250 BC. AR Stater (10.51 g). Two wrestlers grappling; between them, two letters. Reverse: Slinger standing right; in right field, forepart of horse and helmet. SNG Cop 245 var. (eagle instead of helmet); BMC 68 var. (monogram instead of helmet). Mint State. It is unusual for this type to retain so much of its mint-condition appearance.
