1 Dollar    (sold for $14340.0)

1911,
CHINA. Dollar, Year 3 (1911). NGC MS-65.

L&M-37; K-227; Y-31; WS-0046b. An incredibly appealing gem example of this classic and desirable Empire Dollar. Bright satin luster throughout the entire surface. Just a touch of orange toning at the rim for a very eye appealing piece. Firmly in the upper echelon in terms of grade. It is only outdone by twenty other examples, and given the large population of graded coins of this type, this is quite impressive.

PCGS#: 402543
