1 Cent    (sold for $210.0)

1835 N-16 R2 Head of 1836 VF35. Sharpness EF45 but there is a rim bruise at the bottom of the reverse that flattens several dentils. Lightly cleaned and nicely retoned glossy chocolate brown and olive with hints of very faded red in protected areas on the obverse. MDS. The die cracks through the legend outside the wreath are clear but the fields are still relatively smooth. Estimated Value $100-UP. Ex Randle Fairchild-Colin Ralls. Categories: Liberty Cents
