1 Cent    (sold for $1050.0)

1825 N-6 R3. PCGS graded AU-55. Very attractive frosty medium brown and light chocolate with a peep or two of very faded mint red showing on both sides. There is just a touch of wear on the highpoints and no significant marks. The best identifying defects are a tiny speck of reddish toning just right of the nostril and a dull nick hidden in the hair over IB in LIBERTY, and neither mark is visible to the unaided eye. Sharply struck MDS with a faint die crack extending up to the left from the right top of the N in ONE. Our grade is EF45+, close to AU50. Estimated Value $800-UP. Categories: Liberty Cents
