SWEDEN. 1/2 Daler Plate Money, 1749. Fredrik I (1720-51).
4.25 x 4 in. KM-PM65; AAH-301; BT-A30. Scarce (Tingstrom: 79 examples known including 24 pieces from the Nicobar). Heavy surface corrosion has left the stamps very faint. The center stamp is only identifiable as shallow depression, while the corner stamps are visible but faint displaying two full dates and two partial dates. A few spots of verdigris in protected pockets. Reddish brown patina. With certificate of authenticity.
