BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY , Athena, helmeted, enthroned to left, holding Nike in her outstretched right hand and resting her left elbow on a shield at her side, behind her rests a spear, a monogram in inner left field, a crescent in the exergue (Thompson, ‘The Mints of Lysimachus’, in Essays to Robinson, 47).
