Very rare in such nice condition, the finest graded by NGC and quite likely the finest known. ex FDC Collection Upon the death of HRE Charles VI in 1740, his daughter Maria Theresa came to the throne but without universal support, leading to the War of the Austrian Succession. During the short interim, this vicariat Thaler was struck - one of the most handsome designs of 18th Century German and Polish coinage. $ 3,500
