Some bagmarks and nicks with light surface marks, otherwise good extremely fine and rare. Calendar year mintage 413,208 of which 208 went for pyx trial. 1928 is the last year the W.W.P. initials appear under the broken lance. These initials are relict from the time of George IV being the Master of the Mint’s initials William Wellesley Pole, brother of the Duke of Wellington. £1500-1800
