SWEDEN. 4 Daler Plate Money, 1756. Adolf Fredrik (1751-71).
9.5 x 10.25 in. KM-PM76; AAH-125; BT-B7. (Tingstrom: 344 examples known including 332 pieces from the Nicobar). Stamps originally well applied, but have been greatly affected by the heavy corrosion throughout the plate. The center stamp is still mostly present and discernible, while the corner stamps are all at least partly incomplete, but still display three full legible dates and one partial date. About 20% of the plate has been lost to corrosion. Very attractive glossy medium brown patina. With certificate of authenticity.
