Nimbate Christ seated facing on a backless throne, raising hand in benediction and holding book of Gospels, 3 pellets in nimbus. Rev. Crowned Nicephorus standing facing, wearing a loros, holding a labarum with X on shaft and a globus cruciger, from which is suspended a pear-shaped object (DOC 3a; S 1881). Very fine. $300
