THAILAND. Baht, RS 116 (1897). PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.

cf.Y-34; K&M-pl. F43; LeMay-pl. XXVIII #10. VERY RARE. A commemorative coin struck for the visit of Queen Saowapha to the royal mint. The inner inscription and date were added to the dies of the regular undated Baht coins. Very few of these were minted and only given to the officials who accompanied the Queen on her visit. Toned with some colored hues and lustrous surfaces.
