1848 N-27 R2 F15. Sharpness VF35 with small patches of light corrosion and verdigris in the field before the portrait and more on the reverse, mostly at UNITE and the wreath below. There are some light contact marks, including a few short hairline scratches in the obverse fields and a dull vertical nick under the earlobe. Mostly glossy dark chocolate and olive brown with medium brown highpoints. Extremely rare TDS, die state h, with a bold rim cud break at star 12. CC#2 of only 5 known with this rim cud, and the finest grades only VF20. Removed from an NCS slab graded AU details corroded (NCS label included, and it shows the attribution and Reiver provenance).
