CAESAR AVGVSTVS, head of Augustus left, wearing oak wreath.Reverse: DIVVS above, IVLIVS below, comet of eight rays. RIC 38b; BMC 326; RSC 97. Sear 1607 We note some antique scratches in the reverse fields. Very Fine. The reverse depicting the 'Julian star' was a comet which appeared in the sky shortly after Caesar's assassination in 44 BC.
