Probus AE Antoninianus, RIC 204 var Probus (276-282 AD). AE silvered Antoninianus (23 mm, 3.73 g), Roma. Obv. IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG, radiate bust left in imperial mantle, holding sceptre surmounted by eagle in left and globe in right hand. Rev. SOLI INVICTO, Sol in spread quadriga holding globe and whip. Ex. R. RIC V 204 var. (unlisted bust type and mintmark). Very rare bust type. Some corrosion, otherwise, about very fine.
