(sold for $1858.0)

† COINS, CYPRUS Victoria (1837-1901), Copper ¼-Piastre, 1901 (Pr 87; KM 1.2). About uncirculated with subdued mint red, numerous marks in the semi-prooflike fields. The marks that plague the fields of the coins in the Cyprus series are usually round and appear to be from die rust but we don’t really know for sure. It is just most apparent on semi proof-like fields. £250-350
