1831 N-12/3 R5 (as a die state) VF30. The "Harpooned Whale.". VF-30. Glossy chocolate and bluish steel brown with lots of frosty tan in protected areas. No roughness and only a few minor contact marks, including a nearly vertical thin nick right of the E in ONE and another smaller one down from the left end of the base of the T in CENT. A very faint scuff of microscopic hairlines shows in the field before the face. LDS with a huge cud break that engulfs 5 points of star 13 and two points of star 12, plus most of the lower left point of star 12 as well leaving only the tip of that point exposed.
