1793 S-11a R4+ Wreath Type with Vine & Bars Edge G6. Sharpness F15 but granular, strongest in the field behind the head. No verdigris. The only notable mark is a planchet void at the top of the head under ER in LIBERTY. Dark olive and steel with chocolate toning on the highpoints of the portrait. The date and legends are clear except for the fraction, which was softly impressed due to being struck slightly off center towards the bottom of the reverse. Estimated Value $1,500-UP.
