VERY RARE Two Year Type Catherine II Gold 10 Ruble
Fr-129; KM-79.2a; Bit-9; Diakov-46. The finest and only mint state example certified by NGC. VERY RARE two year only type coin. The first year of issue for the reduced weight standard 10 Rubles (Imperial). In 1764, the weight was reduced from 15.63 gms to 13.09 gms. Some minor earthen deposits in the obverse legend. Well struck and lustrous. Bright and attractive.
