Triple cult statue of Diana Nemorensis; behind five cypresses grove.
Originally situated near Aricia the sanctuary of Diana Nemorensis served as meeting place for the Latin league. During the reign of Servius Tullius (578-535 B.C.) the cult of the goddess what transferred to Rome with the intention to gain power over the Latins. The moneyer had chosen this motif as in indication of his home city Aricia.
